I suppose the month of May is probably everybody’s most beloved month! This incredible renewal of life in even the smallest of seedlings, always again gives hope and faith! I experience this intense joy and beauty every time again!
Only, I have also another name for this month of life…
I call it my “Shoa Month”. It may be clear that all those ceremonies of remembrance, starting somewhere in the end of April, but also knowing that most members of our families have been murdered in this period, are the reason for this name. I normally go to Holland to be with at least some family members on these dark days. This year Covid 19 has made it impossible. That’s how my Shoa Project came into being. It became the home alternative to my usual commemoration. I decided to present it to my friends, to share these feelings with you. Thank you so much for being with me in this moment!
